Shane

Shane is a Golden Retriever and was named after the lead character in the 1953 Western Classic “Shane”. Shane came from the Adirondacks in upper state New York. He comes from a lineage that achieved great success in hunting tests by both the American and Canadian Kennel Clubs. Shane has earned his “Junior Hunter” and “Therapy Dog” titles from the American Kennel Club.
Shane was adopted in October of 2010 at the age of eight weeks. Since that time he has gone to work each and every day with his Dad. Shane has a very calm disposition and has proven to be very adaptable as he goes just about everywhere with his Dad. Shane has been a member of Divine Canines since 2011 and his favorite sites are St. David’s Rehab Hospital and Austin Lakes Hospital.
