Boone came to Austin at just over 8 weeks old from Altoona, Florida. He’s a Rhodesian Ridgeback – full of smarts, curiosity, loads of friendliness and a keen sense of intuition! He’s a big boy, and he has a big personality to match his size. Now at two years old, Boone is a calmer version of his puppy self, but he can get crazy with the best of them when the game is on! With a deliberate slowness, he loves to look deeply in to the eyes of the new people he meets. Then a gentle wag of his tail and a sweet kiss s eals the deal on hearts most every time. He’ll shake both paws, and will light up when he hears people coo back at him! When he’s let loose on the world, Boone loves to be chased and contagiously shares his love of life with anyone willing to play! He swims and runs with a speed, elegance and strength that could easily take your breath away. Oh, and he’ll do just about anything for a treat, too!
