Emma was adopted from the Humane Society of San Antonio when she was about a year old. She was at the shelter for six months and her only known history is that she was found on the side of the road, her early puppy days are a mystery. She is a mixed breed dog with a very dense coat and a big mane like a lion. She loves the water, it can be a beach, lake, pool, river, stream or puddle, she always wants to get in and swim. Because of her affinity for the water, we have nicknamed her a “Texas Retriever”. She is definitely a one of a kind. We have been together for almost five years and I am thankful for her everyday. Her great attitude and fun disposition can always help me smile. She is friendly to everyone she meets, eager to please and knows a few tricks. She loves to go places and help people be happy. We are excited to volunteer with Divine Canines and look forward to meeting lots of peoples and helping them have a great day.
