Handler: Laurie Good

Hurley is a male Border Collie / Pyrenees mix, 2006 model and was dumped at Town Lake Animal Center at the age of two, as a vicious dog. Fortunately, the great folks at Austin Dog Rescue saw that this was not the case with him and they promptly rescued him. He was then enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program where he received training and socialization skills. In 2008 we rescued him from his crate in a cell in a prison and brought him home to the country. He is fun loving, loves people and pleasing them, loves to ride in the car, hike, swim, do tricks, say his prayers and ‘herd’ our horses. He was the Judge’s Pick for the Statesman’s ‘Best Dog Around Town’ in June of 2010 with his photo at the 360 bridge. We love being a part of Divine Canines!
