Odin is a rescue dog who very cleverly made eye contact with us at an Austin Pets Alive adoption event. He came home with us and quickly taught us that his gifts are intelligence and a loving heart. He loves people – people of all sizes, ages, and genders. He wants to meet every person he sees and just assumes that they want to meet him, too. They usually do.
He seems to have found his calling as a therapy dog. He’s had lots of practice taking care of people: he tries to cuddle with the baby in our extended family when he cries and he succeeds in cuddling with the baby’s 85 year-old great grandmother when she is not well. He’s looking forward to expanding his clientele through his work with Divine Canines!
In addition to taking care of people, Odin likes walking, taking long naps, going to doggie school, meeting other dogs, doing tricks, and eating carrots and peas.
