Kiko

Handler: Whitney Temple

Kiko (Hawaiian for Freckles) was rescued by Whitney Temple from a small shelter in Lufkin, Texas. She was taken in as an 8-week foster puppy. She held the title of “foster dog” for about 2 minutes, before becoming a permanent addition to Whitney and her family.

People often ask what kind of dog Kiko is. Whitney’s answer is always, “a sweet dog.” She had her DNA sampled, and the results show almost every breed of dog imaginable. The only thing for certain, she is definitely a sweet dog.

Her most impressive talents are face-licking, lap-snuggling, and eating treats. Her favorite place to volunteer is Rawson-Saunders, a school for dyslexic children. She loves all people (especially children), cats, other dogs, and everything in between. She even plays gently with Whitney’s daughter’s pet lizard, Andrew.
